If you find yourself doubting your worth, consider this.
Your body is composed of particles and energy that have existed since the beginning of time and space. From the first flash, these particles have traveled through the universe at distances and speeds of which our imaginations fail to comprehend.
We are made of stardust. Or, if you prefer to be a little more specific, a medley of Hydrogen, Carbon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen atoms in motion. In a sense, we are a fractal of the very universe we gaze upon.
This place we currently call “home” travels at 67,000 mph as it revolves in an ever-expanding universe. Which means that you are thousands of miles away from where you were when you began to read this post.
Yet, for all of the chemicals and compounds, we contain a spark of eternity within us. Our souls animate our body, and inspire us, observing and interacting from deep within us – when we allow it.
For a brief moment, our souls coalesce with matter and time. We live, and experience, create and dream, hurt and heal, learn, laugh, and love.
Too often, we become distracted. We forget our significance, and the value of those around us. Our focus is off, the temporal over the eternal, grievances over gratitude, trees from the forest.
Many will sleep through life, taking time for granted. They will forget why we they are here; many more will never inquire as to what here is.
The universe went through a lot for you to be here. Let’s live like it.
